Ola- a leading name in the ride-hailing industry, announces its plan to hire more than 100 freshers from top engineering colleges and b-schools. They are planning to hire employees for positions ranging from product developers to research engineers and business analysts within the coming period of 6-12 months.
The renowned cab service organization is looking to hire via campus placements from the top universities and business schools across the country such as IIMs (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta and Lucknow) as well as institutes like NIT, BITS Pilani and IITs (Delhi, Madras, Roorkee and Guwahati) amongst others as part of its campus placement programme – Campus Connect, Ola said in a statement.
The group chief human resources officer – Srinivas Chunduru exclaimed that Ola is going through an exponential growth phase.
“We are expanding our services globally, penetrating deeper within India with new product innovations, adding more verticals to our business; all of this opens up endless learning and growth opportunities for our people.”
Ola, the Bengaluru based organization, has its current workforce of more than 7000 employees, working in areas like financial services, food management, and mobility. The company also provides specialized induction program called Elevate, to all its employees. Elevate is a 12-month long training program to aid the campus hires in a smoother transition from academics to workforce. The whole agenda behind this long induction program is to give explicit knowledge and experience regarding different business objectives.
“Ola hired more than 60 new hires earlier this year and are currently undergoing the 12-month training as a part of the ongoing edition of Elevate.”
